The Alpha Way
Our Mission
Texas Alpha Baseball was created to provide a higher level of competition for talented and motivated athletes with a commitment to the improvement of their skills in a team focused environment. Teams will work hard to win games, but winning will never become more important than teamwork and good sportsmanship. Texas Alpha Baseball will ask players to work toward excellence, not perfection. Baseball is a fun and challenging game that requires players to develop the ability to overcome mistakes and to look forward to their next opportunity. Ultimately, the development of skills and team focused play will be the guideline for our program, which we believe will create better baseball players and better people

ATTITUDE

The state or feeling of being calm and in control of oneself
EFFORT
Strenuous physical or mental exertion

Lead
An Alpha leads by example. Do as I do, not do as I say. Leadership is neither a rank nor a title. It is a choice. BE THE ALPHA
Respected
An Alpha is respected by teammates and opponents. Respect is for those who earn it, not for those who demand it. BE THE ALPHA
Dedicated
An Alpha is dedicated. An Alpha puts in the work when no else is watching. Dedication doesn't have an off-season. BE THE ALPHA
Protective
An Alpha protects his pack of teammates. Protecting yourself is self defense. Protection of others is Alpha mentality. BE THE ALPHA.
Resilient
An Alpha is resilient. An Alpha can grow through experience. But an Alpha refuses to be reduced by it. BE THE ALPHA.
Loyal
An Alpha is loyal. Loyalty means nothing unless it has at its heart the absolute principle of self-sacrifice. An Alpha chooses team above self. BE THE ALPHA
Courageous
An Alpha is courageous. Courage is the resistance of fear, not the absence of fear. An Alpha rises to the occasion regardless of the situation. BE THE ALPHA
Confident
An Alpha is confident. Confidence is built through repetition. Repetitions are done in practice. The more an Alpha sweats in practice, the less an Alpha bleeds in battle. BE THE ALPHA.
